Fort Worth, TX (July 16, 2025) – A violent overnight crash on Eastbound Interstate 30 near Cooks Lane led to a truck veering off the highway and crashing into an apartment complex. The major accident, which occurred shortly before 3 a.m., involved at least three vehicles and sent emergency crews scrambling to respond.
On July 13, Fort Worth dispatchers began receiving multiple calls reporting a serious crash on the interstate. When first responders arrived, they discovered three heavily damaged cars spread across the roadway. While attending to injured victims, crews were notified of a separate incident just beyond the highway—where a truck had slid down a hill and plowed through a metal fence, crashing into the rear of a laundry room at a nearby apartment complex.
The truck’s occupants had already fled the scene by the time crews arrived. The vehicle was found abandoned, embedded in the structure. Authorities treated eight individuals at the scene for injuries and transported those in need of further care to area hospitals for further evaluation.
