Anthony, TX (November 14, 2025) – A serious late-night crash left one driver with life-threatening injuries on Thursday, November 13, along Interstate 10 near mile marker 0 in Anthony. The collision happened shortly after 11:09 p.m. and involved a truck and a semi-truck traveling westbound on the highway.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, the truck collided with the semi-truck before rolling over. The violent impact crushed parts of the vehicle and trapped the driver inside. Officers from the Anthony Police Department arrived quickly and coordinated with firefighters and paramedics to help the injured driver. Crews worked fast at the scene as they prepared the victim for emergency transport.
Because of the severity of the injuries, first responders requested a medical helicopter. Emergency services flew the injured individual to the Hospital. Officials have not released the driver’s condition beyond confirming the injuries as life-threatening.
The crash created major delays for nighttime traffic in the area. I-10 westbound was reduced to a single lane, and North Desert Boulevard was shut down from the Westway exit (Exit 2) to the Anthony exit (Exit 0).
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the rollover crash and will release updates as more information becomes available.
We sincerely hope the injured driver receives the treatment needed for a full and steady recovery.
Truck Accidents in Texas
Truck accidents on major highways like I-10 often result in devastating injuries. High speeds, heavy commercial vehicles, and nighttime conditions can create extremely dangerous situations. When a smaller truck collides with a semi-truck, the consequences can change a person’s life in moments.
Victims in these crashes frequently suffer severe trauma because of the size difference between the vehicles. Some injuries may require long-term treatment or ongoing rehabilitation. Although every case is different, victims often face a combination of physical pain, emotional stress, and financial strain.
Here are some of the most common injuries seen in major truck collisions:
- Traumatic brain injuries that affect memory, focus, or behavior
- Spine injuries that may lead to chronic pain or limited mobility
- Broken bones that require surgery and months of recovery
- Internal injuries that demand immediate medical attention
- Severe cuts or lacerations caused by crushed metal and broken glass
These injuries can result in weeks, months, or even years of medical care. Victims may struggle to work, drive, or return to normal daily routines. Because truck crashes often involve multiple insurance carriers and federal trucking regulations, working through the aftermath can feel overwhelming.
This is why many victims turn to an experienced truck accident attorney who understands how to gather evidence, analyze trucking records, and deal with insurance companies. Legal support can help injured individuals pursue compensation for medical bills, rehabilitation costs, lost income, and pain and suffering. Strong representation can also help protect the victim’s rights at every stage of the process.
