Arlington, TX (August 6, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on northbound Highway 360 left several people hurt and caused a complete shutdown of the highway’s northbound lanes on Wednesday afternoon, August 6. The accident occurred around 3:20 p.m. near Division Street and involved at least three heavily damaged vehicles.

According to local reports, emergency crews from Tower 8, Engine 5, and three Arlington EMS ambulances responded to the scene alongside officers from the Arlington Police Department. When crews arrived, they found a red sedan with extensive front-end damage, a white sedan also severely damaged, and a white SUV with significant structural damage—all blocking multiple lanes.

At least one person was injured in the crash and was provided emergency treatment at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of the injuries has not been made public, but the crash was significant enough to cause long delays as police worked to investigate and clear the roadway.

Authorities shut down all northbound lanes of Highway 360 for an extended period as emergency teams tended to the injured and began the cleanup process. Police continue to investigate the sequence of events leading up to the crash.

We hope those injured in this accident recover quickly.

Car Accidents in Texas

Arlington, TX - Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 360 Near Division StCar accidents are a frequent occurrence across Texas, particularly on high-speed roadways and highways. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, multi-vehicle crashes contribute to a large percentage of the state’s total accidents and often result in complex investigations and lengthy recovery periods for those involved.

Here’s what to know about how vehicle damage can relate to crash outcomes:

  • Severe Front-End Damage: Vehicles with front-end impact often result in injuries to drivers, including head trauma, chest injuries, and leg fractures. Airbags may reduce severity, but the force of the crash can still cause harm.
  • Multiple Car Involvement: Crashes involving three or more vehicles often result in chain-reaction impacts. These collisions make it harder to determine fault and frequently involve multiple injured parties.
  • SUVs in Accidents: While SUVs offer some protection due to their size, their higher center of gravity can contribute to rollovers or more violent collisions in multi-car wrecks.
  • Increased Lane Blockage: When multiple vehicles block several lanes, it extends emergency response times, delays treatments, and increases the risk of secondary accidents.
  • Vehicle Intrusion: When damage affects the passenger cabin, injuries are often more severe. These cases frequently lead to longer recovery times and higher medical costs.
  • Complicated Insurance Claims: With more than one vehicle involved, claims often require detailed investigation, witness statements, and accident reconstruction to determine liability.
