Arlington, TX (December 17, 2025) – A Minnesota Vikings fan suffered injuries after a hit-and-run outside AT&T Stadium on Sunday night, December 14, in Arlington. The crash happened around 11:00 p.m. in a parking lot along the 700 block of Stadium Drive, according to the Arlington Police Department.
Police identified the injured pedestrian as 30-year-old Jordan Boll. Boll walked back to his vehicle after the Cowboys game when a dark-colored pickup truck struck him. Witnesses told officers the driver did not stop or offer help and instead fled the area.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and provided medical care before transporting Boll to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Officers secured the area, documented evidence, reviewed nearby surveillance footage, and interviewed witnesses to identify the truck and its driver. The Arlington Police Department continues to investigate and asks anyone with information to come forward.
We hope the injured man makes a full and steady recovery.
Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Pedestrian accidents happen often across Texas, with hundreds of people struck by vehicles each year. Busy cities like Arlington see frequent crashes near intersections, parking lots, and event venues. These incidents tend to rise at night or during weekends when traffic and foot activity increase.
Common causes of pedestrian accidents in Texas include:
- Distracted Driving: Phone use, texting, and multitasking often take drivers’ eyes off the road.
- Speeding: Fast-moving vehicles need more time to stop when a person crosses unexpectedly.
- Failure to Yield: Drivers entering or exiting parking lots often overlook pedestrians in crosswalks.
- Low visibility: Poor lighting and dark clothing make it harder for drivers to spot people walking.
- Impaired Driving: Alcohol or drug use slows reaction times and increases the chance of hitting a pedestrian
Pedestrians face the highest risk of severe or life-changing injuries in these crashes. Without any protection, a direct impact can cause broken bones, spinal cord injuries, or traumatic brain damage. Many victims spend months in recovery while dealing with lost income and emotional stress.
After a pedestrian crash, your health comes first. Get medical care right away, even if pain seems minor at first, since some injuries worsen with time. Keep medical records, bills, and any notes or photos from the scene to protect your claim.
If you or a loved one suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident, you may be entitled to compensation for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Insurance companies often rush early offers that do not reflect long-term needs. Speaking with a dedicated pedestrian accident lawyer can help you understand your options and protect the value of your claim.
At Salam & Associates, we represent injured pedestrians and their families across Tarrant County and throughout Texas. Our team investigates each case, deals directly with insurers, and fights for the compensation you deserve.
