Dallas, TX (October 27, 2025) – A man tragically died on Sunday, October 26, after his motorcycle collided with a Dallas Fire-Rescue truck near Skillman Street and La Vista Drive.
According to Dallas police, officers arrived at the scene around 8:30 p.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls about the crash. Investigators determined that the motorcyclist had been traveling north on Skillman Street when he struck a Dallas Fire-Rescue truck turning left onto westbound La Vista Drive.
Emergency responders provided immediate medical aid and transported the injured rider to a nearby hospital. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. Authorities have not released his identity pending family notification.
The Dallas Police Department and city officials are still investigating the cause of the crash. Crews temporarily blocked traffic in the area as investigators worked to collect evidence and clear the scene. No other injuries were reported among the fire-rescue personnel.
