Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Texas continues to face a rising number of pedestrian deaths, especially in large cities like Dallas. Heavy traffic, limited crosswalks, and poor visibility often make these areas dangerous for people walking near busy roads.
According to recent crash data, Texas ranks among the top states for pedestrian fatalities each year. Many of these crashes stem from distracted driving, speeding, or impaired driving. Even one careless act behind the wheel can cause a devastating tragedy.
Families who lose loved ones in pedestrian accidents often struggle with emotional pain and financial hardship. Along with grief, they face unexpected costs for medical care, funerals, and lost income. Under Texas wrongful death laws, families may recover compensation for:
- Medical bills and funeral expenses
- Lost financial support and income
- Pain, suffering, and emotional anguish
- Loss of companionship
Insurance companies often rush to offer low settlements that don’t reflect the true impact of the loss. A brave wrongful death lawyer in Dallas can protect your rights, investigate the crash, and fight for the full compensation your family deserves.
