El Paso, TX (December 7, 2025) – Four people suffered injuries on Saturday, December 6, after a two-vehicle crash on Montana Avenue near Desert Meadows in the Montana Vista area, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
The collision happened around 3:45 p.m. Paramedics from the El Paso Fire Department and the Montana Vista Fire Department responded immediately and provided emergency care to all four victims. One person required air transport to a nearby hospital for critical treatment, while others were taken by ambulance for further evaluation.
Deputies shut down both directions of Montana Avenue as investigators gathered evidence and interviewed witnesses. Crews cleared the wreckage and reopened the road after several hours. We hope everyone injured in this collision makes a full recovery.
Car Accidents in Texas
Major crashes like this one in El Paso highlight how dangerous Texas roads can be. Heavy traffic, long commutes, and driver inattention often combine to create conditions where accidents happen in seconds. The injuries that follow can be painful and life-changing.
Serious crashes often happen when drivers lose focus or misjudge traffic flow. In many cases, vehicles collide during turns or lane changes when visibility is limited. Heavy congestion on major Texas roads like Montana Avenue also increases the risk of sudden rear-end and side-impact collisions.
Victims of car accidents frequently suffer:
- Head or brain injuries that cause confusion, headaches, or memory problems.
- Neck and back injuries that lead to chronic pain or limited mobility.
- Broken bones that require long recovery times and physical therapy.
- Internal bleeding or organ damage that may not show symptoms immediately.
- Emotional distress that affects daily life and driving confidence.
After a serious crash, it’s important to seek medical care right away and follow every doctor’s instruction. Keep copies of medical records, receipts, and photos of the vehicles and injuries. This documentation can help protect your right to fair compensation.
Under Texas law, accident victims may be entitled to payment for hospital bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and long-term care. However, insurance companies often push for quick, low settlements that fail to cover the true costs of recovery. Working with a skilled car accident lawyer helps ensure your case is handled properly from the start.
