El Paso, TX (December 18, 2025) – A deadly motorcycle crash claimed the life of a 29-year-old man on Wednesday morning, December 17, in Northwest El Paso. The collision occurred along the 1500 block of Northwestern Drive, prompting a major emergency response.
Witnesses said a 2019 Toyota Camry traveled south on Northwestern Drive and attempted a left turn into a parking lot. At the same time, a 2012 Honda CBR motorcycle moved north on the same roadway. The motorcycle struck the turning vehicle, and the impact threw the rider from the bike and onto the roadway.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and worked to save the rider. Despite their efforts, the motorcyclist died from severe injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities later identified him as Sergio Valenzuela. Police said the driver of the Toyota Camry did not suffer injuries.
Officers blocked the area for several hours while investigators collected evidence and documented the crash. The El Paso Police Department continues to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
