Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Texas ranks among the highest states for pedestrian crashes, especially in fast-growing cities like El Paso. Crowded intersections, heavy traffic, and limited crosswalks create hazardous conditions for anyone walking near busy streets.
Most pedestrian crashes in Texas happen when drivers speed, fail to yield, or get distracted behind the wheel. Poor lighting and unsafe intersections also increase the risk of severe injuries for people walking near busy roads.
A single moment of distraction or failure to yield can cause catastrophic harm. Victims of pedestrian accidents often suffer broken bones, spinal injuries, internal bleeding, and head trauma. These injuries can require months or years of medical care, physical therapy, and rehabilitation.
If you or a loved one was injured in a pedestrian crash, you may be entitled to compensation for:
- Medical bills
- Lost wages and future earning capacity
