El Paso, TX (November 6, 2025) – Seven people suffered injuries on Monday, November 3, after a major crash on U.S. 54 near the Cassidy exit in El Paso.

The crash happened around 3 p.m. when multiple vehicles collided in the northbound lanes. The impact left several vehicles badly damaged and brought traffic to a complete stop. Crews closed all northbound lanes for more than two hours while they worked to clear the wreckage and help the injured.

Emergency crews from the El Paso Fire Department and FireStar EMS arrived within minutes. Paramedics treated victims at the scene and transported six people to nearby hospitals for further care. One person required transport by FireStar due to more serious injuries. Officials described the crash as severe, noting the large number of victims involved.

Investigators spent several hours at the scene collecting evidence, documenting vehicle positions, and speaking with witnesses. Crews reopened all lanes shortly after 5:20 p.m. Authorities continue to review what caused the crash.

Our thoughts are with everyone injured in this collision, and we wish them all a full and swift recovery.

Car Accidents in Texas

Seven Injured in Crash on US 54 at Cassidy ExitTexas records some of the highest rates of car accidents in the nation. High-traffic routes like U.S. 54 in El Paso are especially prone to multi-vehicle collisions due to heavy congestion, high speeds, and sudden lane changes.

Car collisions often happen when drivers fail to yield, speed through intersections, or drive distracted. Even at slower speeds, the impact of a crash can cause broken bones, head injuries, spinal trauma, and internal bleeding. Survivors often face long hospital stays, surgeries, and months of rehabilitation.

If you or someone you love sustained injuries in a car accident, you may have the right to seek compensation for:

  • Medical expenses and emergency care
  • Lost wages and reduced earning capacity
  • Pain and emotional suffering
  • Long-term rehabilitation or therapy

Insurance companies often move quickly to minimize payouts, sometimes shifting blame onto the victim. Working with an experienced car accident lawyer ensures your rights are protected and your case is handled with the attention it deserves.
