Fort Worth, TX (December 3, 2025) – Several people sustained injuries on Monday, December 1, in a serious multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 35W near Sycamore School Road in south Fort Worth.
The Fort Worth Police Department reported that three vehicles collided around 10 p.m. in the northbound lanes. The crash scattered debris across the roadway and left several vehicles heavily damaged. Emergency crews arrived within minutes. Paramedics treated the injured at the scene and took multiple victims to nearby hospitals for further care. Officials have not confirmed the total number of people hurt or the severity of their injuries.
Police closed all northbound lanes of I-35W while firefighters removed wreckage and officers redirected traffic to prevent additional collisions. The Texas Department of Transportation confirmed that the lanes reopened just after 10:30 p.m. once the roadway was cleared and safe for travel.
Investigators with the Fort Worth Police Department examined the scene, reviewed evidence, and spoke with witnesses to determine how the crash occurred. The investigation remains ongoing.
We hope everyone injured in this crash makes a full and steady recovery.
Multi-Vehicle Accidents in Texas
Texas highways, including I-35W, carry heavy traffic every day, especially in major cities like Fort Worth. With so many vehicles traveling at high speeds, multi-vehicle crashes can happen within seconds and cause severe injuries to drivers and passengers alike.
These accidents often begin with one sudden impact that sets off a chain reaction, leaving multiple vehicles damaged. Weather, traffic congestion, or brief inattention can all make it harder for drivers to react in time. The result is often a pileup that causes serious injuries and major property damage.
Victims of multi-vehicle crashes frequently suffer head trauma, spinal injuries, broken bones, and internal bleeding. Recovery can take months or even years, often requiring surgeries, physical therapy, and continuous medical care. Many also face emotional distress and financial hardship from lost wages and growing medical expenses.
If you or a loved one was injured in a car accident, you may be entitled to compensation for:
- Medical expenses
- Lost wages and loss of future earnings
- Pain and suffering
- Ongoing rehabilitation and long-term care costs
Insurance companies may offer quick settlements that fail to cover the full cost of recovery. Speaking with an experienced car accident lawyer can help you protect your rights and secure full compensation.
