Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in Texas

The Texas Department of Public Safety reports that someone on foot is killed in a traffic collision nearly every day. Understanding the factors that often play a role in fatal pedestrian crashes can help families recognize the dangers:

  • Crosswalk Risks: Even when using marked crosswalks, pedestrians face serious danger when drivers fail to stop or yield the right of way.
