Car Accidents in Texas
Serious crashes like this one show how dangerous Texas highways can be. Every day, drivers face heavy traffic, fast-moving vehicles, and unpredictable road conditions. A single moment of distraction or reckless behavior can cause devastating injuries and life-changing consequences.
Common causes of major crashes in Texas include high-speed driving, distracted driving, fatigue, and failure to yield at intersections. Each of these factors increases the risk of catastrophic injury, especially on busy tollways and highways where traffic moves quickly.
Common injuries victims of car accidents sustain include:
- Broken Bones: High-impact crashes frequently cause fractures that require surgery and months of recovery.
- Spinal Injuries: Damage to the spine can result in chronic pain or permanent disability.
- Traumatic Brain Injuries: Head impacts often lead to long-term cognitive and physical challenges.
- Internal Injuries: Internal bleeding and organ damage can be life-threatening without immediate care.
These injuries often lead to extended hospital stays, rehabilitation, and financial stress. Families also face emotional hardship while managing the costs of recovery and lost income.
If you sustained injuries in a car accident, you may be entitled to compensation for medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and vehicle repairs. Insurance companies often push for fast settlements that don’t cover long-term costs. A skilled car accident lawyer can step in, negotiate aggressively, and fight for the full compensation you deserve.
