Car Accidents in Texas

Two-Vehicle Collision at Independence Pkwy & Ridgeview Dr Injures Two Car accidents remain a leading cause of injuries across Texas, particularly in busy cities like Plano. Evening commutes often bring low visibility, fatigue, and congestion, which raise the risk of serious crashes. Even minor-looking collisions can cause significant injuries and long-term pain.

Some of the most common causes of car accidents in Texas include:

  • Distracted Driving: Using a phone or losing focus for a moment can lead to rear-end or side-impact crashes.
  • Speeding: Driving too fast reduces the time needed to react to road changes or sudden stops.
  • Unsafe Turns: Failing to yield or misjudging traffic often causes intersection crashes.
  • Following Too Closely: Tailgating limits stopping distance and causes chain-reaction crashes.
  • Weather Conditions: Rain and slick pavement reduce tire grip and braking control.

Car accident injuries can range from cuts and bruises to severe trauma that requires long-term treatment. Victims often face ongoing pain, physical therapy, and emotional distress long after the crash. These challenges can disrupt daily life, limit work ability, and create lasting financial strain for families.

Texas law allows injured drivers and passengers to seek compensation for medical expenses, pain, suffering, and vehicle damage. However, insurance companies frequently push for quick settlements that fail to cover the true cost of recovery. Before accepting any offer, it is important to consult a car accident lawyer who can assess your case and protect your rights.
