Fort Worth, TX (August 17, 2025) – In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 17, a fatal head-on collision occurred at the intersection of Terminal Road and North Main Street in Fort Worth. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4:13 a.m.
According to Fort Worth Fire Department Battalion 3, the crash involved two vehicles and resulted in both drivers being trapped inside their cars. Firefighters worked to extricate the victims, but tragically, one person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The second individual was successfully removed from their vehicle and transported by EMS to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their condition has not been publicly released at this time.
Fort Worth Police are investigating the crash to determine the cause, including whether speed, distraction, or impairment played a role in the collision.
