El Paso, TX (October 13, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a crash on Saturday, October 11, that left one person injured on Transmountain Road in El Paso County.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred around 2 p.m. near Mile Marker 19. Deputies and medical personnel quickly arrived at the scene after receiving reports of a serious crash.

Paramedics treated one injured individual at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further medical attention. The condition of the patient has not been disclosed, but officials confirmed that the injuries were significant enough to require hospitalization.

Authorities closed Transmountain Road for approximately one hour while investigators examined the scene and crews worked to clear debris. The roadway has since reopened, and normal traffic flow has resumed.

The Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash, including whether factors such as speed, distraction, or weather conditions contributed.

We wish the injured person a full and speedy recovery.

Car Accidents in El Paso

Car accidents in El Paso are common along major routes, where changing elevations, sharp curves, and heavy traffic can create dangerous driving conditions. Even a minor crash can result in serious injuries requiring hospitalization, physical therapy, or long-term medical care.

Victims of car accidents often face more than just physical pain. The emotional and financial burdens—medical bills, lost wages, and vehicle repairs—can overwhelm families already struggling to recover. In these cases, an experienced car accident attorney can make all the difference.

Under Texas law, accident victims have the right to seek compensation when another party’s negligence causes their injuries. Depending on the circumstances, they may recover damages for medical expenses, future treatment, lost income, and pain and suffering. Severe injuries may also warrant compensation for long-term disabilities or diminished quality of life.

Legal guidance is essential after any serious crash. An experienced car accident attorney can:

  • Investigate the cause of the accident and gather evidence
  • Review police reports and witness statements
  • Communicate with insurance companies on your behalf
  • Ensure your rights are protected and fight for maximum compensation

El Paso has seen numerous crashes over the years due to high speeds, distracted driving, and unexpected lane changes. When negligence plays a role, the injured deserve justice and fair recovery. Seeking legal help quickly allows evidence to be preserved and claims to be handled efficiently.
