Car Accidents in Texas

Driver Suffers Head Injury in Crash on DNTCrashes on Texas tollways are unfortunately common, especially during peak commuting hours. Fast-moving traffic, limited reaction time, and distracted driving often combine to create dangerous conditions. Even a moment of inattention can lead to devastating injuries.

Common causes of serious crashes include speeding, tailgating, unsafe lane changes, and driver fatigue. Wet pavement or poor visibility can also make it harder to maintain control, especially at highway speeds.

Victims of tollway crashes often suffer life-changing injuries such as:

  • Traumatic Brain Injuries: Sudden head impact can cause concussions or long-term cognitive issues.
  • Spinal Cord Injuries: High-force collisions may lead to nerve damage or partial paralysis.
  • Broken Bones: Arms, legs, and ribs are especially vulnerable during a crash.
  • Internal injuries: Seat belts or blunt force trauma can damage organs and cause internal bleeding.

Beyond the physical pain, accident victims often face emotional and financial struggles. Hospital bills, lost wages, and insurance disputes can make recovery even harder.

When another driver’s negligence causes a crash, victims have the right to seek full compensation for their losses. A skilled car accident lawyer can handle the investigation, deal with insurance companies, and fight for the compensation you deserve.
